| The Harbourside Apartment is fitted to a good standard and occupies the first floor of an architectural Grade B listed building at Port Askaig. The lower portion comprises the shop and Post Office which was established in 1767. The building overlooks Port Askaig harbour where the ferries from Jura and the mainland arrive. There is a superb view from the windows of all the rooms across the Sound of Islay to the Paps of Jura. |

| The accommodation comprises entrance porch, adjoining which is a bathroom complete with bath, shower, toilet, wash hand basin, heater and shaver socket. On the first floor there is a comfortable, furnished lounge with 20" remote control TV and portable radio/cassette player.There are two twin-bedded bedrooms each with vanity unit, shaver socket, tea/coffee making facilites and remote control colour television. Adjoining is a second bathroom comprising WC bath with shower, heater and razor socket. A foldaway bed is available for a fifth person. | |
| The dining area, in an adjoining room is separated from the kitchen by a breakfast bar. A telephone is in the dining area. The kitchen equipment comprises electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, toaster, stainless steel sink unit and all necessary crockery, cutlery and utensils. Adjoining the kitchen is the utility area, comprising automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board and dishwasher. The apartment has fitted carpet throughout, secondary glazing and white meter storage heaters. Rates are from £200 to £375 per week, depending on the season. |
